Day 03 / Delhi - Agra ( By Train Dep 0600 hrs Arr 0800 hrs.) | : | Early morning our representative will pick you up from your hotel & transfer to railway station to board the superfast air-conditioned train to Agra. Breakfast in the train, Arrive Agra (approx. 02 hours) & check into the hotel. Later visit the Taj Mahal-It is a White marble memorial (seven wonders of the world )Built by Shah Jahan to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal.Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder which is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist's visit to Agra., This monument took 22 years, 20,000 men laboured over to complete and designed it .It is planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen. Agra Fort -Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcove of inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. Day 04 / Agra - Jaipur ( By Surface Approx 5 Hrs. ) | : | After breakfast drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri- The deserted city was the capital of the Mughal Empire between 1570 and 1585. It was founded by the Mughal emperor Akbar to honor the Muslim saint Shaikh Salim Chishti, who had foretold the birth of Akbar's son and heir, Jahangir. Fatehpur Sikri stands untouched and perfectly preserved; a complete medieval fortress of red sandstone, with vast central squares, exquisitely carved multi-tiered pavilions, cool terraces and formal gardens. It ia s a masterpiece of Muslim architecture. It is a 25 miles (40km) west of Agra. Also visit the Bulund Darwaza the largest gateway in the world. Thereafter continue drive to Jaipur. The palace covers one-seventh of the area in Jaipur. The City Palace also has a museum with an exclusive collection of Rajasthani costumes, miniature paintings, carpets and royal paraphernalia, and also visit Hawa Mahal- Constructed in 1799.It is the most sensational monument in the city of Jaipur.Hawa mahal ( Palace of Winds) from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world.The palace has 953 niches and windows. Day 07 / Pushkar - Ajmer - Delhi ( By Train Dep 1550 Hrs Arr 2230 Hrs.) | : | Morning visit the famous Brahma Temple, Later drive to Ajmer (15 Km) & proceed for city tour. Ajmer always had great strategic importance and was sacked by Mahumud of Ghazni on one of his periodic forays from Afghanistan. Later it became a favorite residence of the great Moghula. Ajmer is a green oasis on the shore of Ana Sagar Lake, hemmed in by barren hills. It was founded in 7th century by Ajaipal Chauhan. Later Shah Jahan constructed a mosque of white marble, it has 11 arches and a Persian inscription running the full length of the building. Beyond the Dargah is the Adhai din ka Jhonpra an ancient Sanskrit college, which was converted into mosque in 1198 and remains one of the finest monuments of medieval India.
