Day 01 / Arrival Delhi : On Arrival, our representative will welcome you at the airport & transfer to hotel. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02 / Delhi : After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of New Delhi : DELHI, the capital of kingdoms and empires is now a sprawling metropolis with a fascinating blend of the past and the present. Delhi is a perfect introduction to the composite culture of an ancient land and a window to the kaleidoscope - that is India. New Delhi would include a visit to the and covering the 11 century the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue- Rajpath, pastthe imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, Also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Day 03 / Delhi - Jaipur ( By Road ) : After breakfast leave Delhi & drive to Jaipur & check into the hotel. Later visit the majestic Amber Fort located in Amber 11 km from Jaipur, It is set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements. Ride up on Elephants to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Later visit Hawa Mahal- Constructed in 1799.It is the most sensational monument in the city of Jaipur.Hawa Mahal ( Palace of Winds ) from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world. The palace has 953 niches and windows. This five-story, pyramid-shaped structure is made up of small casements, each with tiny windows and arched roofs, beautifully modeled and carved. There is a total lack of ornamentation on the inner face of the building. The chambers are plain and more mass of pillars and passages leading to the top storey. Overnight in Jaipur
Day 04 / Jaipur - Ajmer - Pushkar ( By Road ) : Morning leave Jaipur & drive to Pushkar and check into the hotel. In Pushkar visit the most famous Brahma Temple, the holy lake of Pushkar is believed to have been created by Lord Brahma himself. It is as important as Banaras or Puri. the only temple in the country that is dedicated to Brahma. It's marked by red spire, and over the entrance gateway is the hans, or goose symbol, of Brahma, who is said to have personally chosen Pushkar as its site, Pushkar lake-The lake is considered as one of the most sacred spots, and believed that one dip in the waters of lake on Kartika Poornima is equivalent to performing yagnas for several hundred years. It is surrounded by hills on three sides and desert on the other side, Man Mahal and Savitri temple-.The temple is dedicated to Savitri, the wife of Lord Brahma and located on the top of the Ratnagiri Hill, There is beautiful statue of Goddess Savitri inside the temple.?Also visit the famous places in Ajmer like Dargah Shariff-,this is one of India's most important places for Muslim pilgrims. The Dargah is the Sufi saint, Khawaja Muin-uddin Chishti, who came to Ajmer from Persia in 1192. Construction of the Shrine was complete by Humayun and the gate was added by the Nizam of Hyderabad. Shah Jahan's mosque, Taragarh fort Taragarh, also known as Garh Beetli. The space within the walls of this hill fort was about 32 hectares with several tanks.Overnight in Pushkar.
Day 05 / Pushkar - Udaipur ( By Road ) : Morning leave Pushkar & drive to Udaipur -an oasis in the desert state of Rajasthan. Arrival in Udaipur and check into the hotel. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 06 / Udaipur : Morning proceed for the city sight seeing tour of Udaipur. The city is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Also Visit the various places in Udaipur like City Palace museum- A majestic architectural marvel towering over the lake on a hill surrounded by crenulated walls, it is a conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces corridors rooms and hanging gardens, the Jagdish temple- Built in 1651A.D. by Maharana Jagat Singh, this Indo army temple is the largest and the most beautiful temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen's resort for their friends & Garden of the maids of Honor)- This small ornamental garden was a popular relaxing sport where royal ladies came for a stroll and hence the name. The garden has many fountains in its four delightful pools chiseled kiosks and marble elephants, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum)-The interesting collection exhibited by this Indian folk arts museum includes folk dresses ornaments puppets masks dolls folk musical instruments folk deities and paintings and the Pratap Memorial. Day 07 / Udaipur - Jodhpur ( By Road ) : After breakfast leave Udaipur & drive to Jodhpur & check into the hotel. Evening at leisure or relax at hotel. Overnight in Jodhpur .
Day 08 / Jodhpur : After a relaxed breakfast proceed for city sight seeing tour of Jodhpur. Jodhpur - The imperial sun city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert. Founded in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha it was once known as Marwar or the ‘Land of Death’ Visit the famous places in jodhpur like Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill,it is the most impressive fortress in Rajasthan. The 5 km long ramparts of the fort, perched on a 125 metre - high rocky cliff in the middle of the city, has four gates which can be approached by a winding road., visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada-This cluster of royal cenotaphs in white marble built in 1899 A.D. in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, also houses the portraits of various kings who ruled Jodhpur in the past. and Umaid Public gardens. Day 09 / Jodhpur - Jaisalmer ( By Road ) : Morning drive through Kheechan village (famous for its migratory cranes) and reach Jaisalmer & check into the hotel. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 10 / Jaisalmer : In morning proceed for camel safari. Enjoy lunch & dinner enroute on camel safari. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 11 / Jaisalmer : Again start the Camel Safari & enjoy breakfast & lunch enroute camel safari. Later return back to the hotel after completion of camel safari in the afternoon. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 12 / Jaisalmer - Bikaner ( By Road ) : Morning leave from Jaisalmer & drive to Bikaner (330 kms), Arrival in Bikaner & check into the hotel. Evening at leisure or relax in the hotel .Overnight in Bikaner.
Day 13 / Bikaner : After breakfast proceed for the sightseeing tour of Bikaner, visit the Junagarh Fort, constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Jai Singh, a general in the Moghul Emperor, These places, made in red sandstone (Dulmera) and marble, make a picturesque ensemble of countryards, balconies, kiosks and windows dotted all over the structure. Akbar's army and the Karnimata Temple at Deshnok- is dedicated to an early fifteenth century mystic who was considered to be a reincarnation of goddess Durga. The specially of the temple is that it is inhabited by legions of brown rats which scurry around the complex without aby fear. The rats are believed to be respositories of the souls of dead charans, the traditional bards. Also visit the prestigious camel breeding farm in the evening. Overnight in Bikaner.
Day 14 / Bikaner - Gajner ( By Road ) : Morning leave Bikaner & drive to Gajner and check into the hotel. Whole day sightseeing of Gajner wildlife sanctuary- Gajner Wildlife Sanctuary, houses the former Hunting lodge of Bikaner and has a beautiful lake surrounded by a dense forest and fort. Overnight in Gajner.
Day 15 / Gajner - Mandawa ( By Road ) : After breakfast leave Gajner & drive to Mandawa and check into the hotel. Afternoon walking tour of the painted 'havelis' of some of the leading business families of the country. Chowkhani Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Lakshmi narayan Ladia Haveli, Mohahanlal Saraf Haveli and Bhag chandika Haveli are of special interest. Spend the entire day looking into frescoes. Day 16 / Mandawa- Jaipur : After breakfast leave from Mandawa & drive to Jaipur and check into the hotel. Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 17 / Jaipur - Agra ( By Road ) : Morning leave Jaipur & drive to Agra enroute visiting Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park & a famous Bird sanctuary)-) it is a reserve that offers protection to faunal species as well. Nesting indigenous water- birds as well as migratory water birds and waterside birds, this sanctuary is also inhabited by Sambar, Chital, Nilgai and Boar and Fatehpur Sikri (a beautiful capital & centre of power during Akbar's reign).- The deserted city Fatehpur Sikri was the capital of the Mughal Empire between 1570 and 1585.It was founded by the Mughal emperor Akbar to honor the Muslim saint Shaikh Salim Chishti, who had foretold the birth of Akbar's son and heir, Jahangir. Fatehpur Sikri stands untouched and perfectly preserved; a complete medieval fortress of red sandstone, with vast central squares, exquisitely carved multi-tiered pavilions, cool terraces and formal gardens.It ia s a masterpiece of Muslim architecture. Day 18 / Agra - Delhi ( By Road ) : Morning check out from the hotel & proceed for sightseeing tour of Agra covering the Taj Mahal-It's a White marble memorial (seven wonders of the world )Built by Shah Jahan to his beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. Little needs to be said about this architectural wonder which is always the soul raison-de-etre for every tourist's visit to Agra., This monument took 22 years, 20,000 men laboured over to complete and designed it. It is planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen.. Agra Fort -Built by the famed Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone.
